Oldest Baptist Church in Brooklyn to be re-developed

After a damaging 3 alarm fire in 2010 … this religious structure needs to be overhauled … and while the church elders are at it … why not sell 55,000 sqft of development rights ??

Since 2010 there have been over 7,000 units built within a few blocks of the Baptist church … have they missed the proverbial condo / rental boat ?
